I have been splitting my own firewood for over 30 years. When I was young, did it by hand. As I got older, I bought a small electric splitter. Now I am retired and the little electric splitter is on its last legs. I have had some large pieces of wood in my driveway for several years because the small electric unit just could not split them. In one afternoon I cleaned up the wood I have had for years. My wife was splitting wood with me. I love it and will be splitting much more wood in the future.

It’s a daily used equipment for winter preparation.. So far I’m at 4 cords and she has had any problems at all…

I have used this splitter for several hours a day with trouble free operation. The engine start on the first or second pull every time. It cranks through oak and cherry like butter. It is well designed and splits very effectively.

Picked up this machine the other day and put it together in an hour (very good instructions). This machine is very well built and works like a charm. I just split some two year old 24 inch logs that were wet and weathered. Worked as advertised. I really like the versatility of the two position cutting options. In the vertical mode, no lifting of logs was required to split them; just rolled them under the beam. The machine is very fast and I like the control arm poisition and function.
