The new articulating hitch with 2″ ball coupler offers more durable construction, infinite adjustment, and tool-free offset adjustment. The hitch base spring pin can be locked open and the hitch can freely rotate and lay over the mowing deck, reducing storage space. Advantages:

- Using the Top Link, the height adjustment and deck leveling is now tool-free and has infinite adjustment.
- Tool-free offset adjustment using a 3/8” clevis pin and 1/2” spring pin. The offset can quickly and easily be set to 5 possible offset positions. The spring pin locks open when adjusting for ease of use.
- A 2” ball coupler will allow a much stronger and movement friendly connection to the tow vehicle versus a pin connection.
- The hitch base spring pin can be locked open and the hitch can freely rotate and lay over the mowing deck, allowing for smaller storage space requirements for the user.

This is a very dependable mower. I am a 61 year old woman running a 15 acre horse farm by myself in Central California. Although we haven’t had a lot of rain, we have had enough to make the pastures grow seemingly overnight. Mowing them with the Swisher has been great. I tow it with my Gator. It starts every time and is rugged. I did manage to shear off the two hitch bolts when I hit a 6 in diameter log hidden in the grass, so make sure your mowing area is free of debris larger than 3 in in diameter.

I got this mower to clean up a 8-10 acre spot that was over grown with honey suckle and small bushes .this mower works great for what I am doing ,hitch could be little better but it still does the job .It will cut larger stuff than I expected ,overall this mower works awesome and would definitely recommend it .

Far better than I’d hoped for would be a pretty fair description. We have about 10 acres that after a recent wild fire needed some major brush cutting/mowing some of the weeds were almost 6 feet tall and thick as a jungle with just a weedtrimmer the job would have taken months we ordered the flail mower after long weeks of research looking for something to tow behind our kawasaki side by side. This mower acts as an independent flail that utterly destroyed everything in its path. 6 foot tall weeds thistles foxtails were not a problem but where it impressed the most was shrubs and small trees like manzanitas that all but one the flail mower handled with ease. We did get a little zealous and tried cutting down a larger one and the mower stalled out worried I had damaged the equipment I immediately rushed to a flatter clearing and it started right up and worked like a charm once again! This was a great investment the Briggs n Stratton motor is beefy enough to handle pretty much anything we threw at it made in the US with a warranty that was important as well as most of these pieces of equipment seemed to come out of Australia. Not having a 3point hitch and needing a tow behind I’d say this might be your mower. Paired with our mule this flail mower was worth every penny we spent.

Good product. Starts first pull every time. Fuel tank is adequate for two hours of use. Hitch assembly is of lightweight construction and could use a serious upgrade. Cuts like a charm!
