This Wood Chipper is powered by a 9.5 HP Kohler Commercial Command PRO Engine that spins 2 steel blades at 2.530rpm. The Kohler engine is, absolutely, a high-quality and dependable engine!
In addition to that, the steel blades are double-sided and can be easily removed, reverse or sharpened. And the durable cutting blades are able to shred 4 in. Trees down to granules and the large feed chute in Omni-direction spout offers flexibility and control for any job.
This Chipper Shredder includes a palm-safety shut-off and a stable swing stand. Moreover, includes a removable tow hitch bar, which provides you the practicality that you need!
There is a larger wheelbase for your Chipper Shredder, for better safety and stability (optional).

Hi Terry, this is a good point, electric start really makes the use easier, but this model doesn’t have this option available, you can check the model POWERKING 5 INCH CHIPPER SHREDDER ELECTRIC START AND HOUR METER – PK0915-EH, which has the electric starter. Very pleased with quality of the chipper. Will chip wood very quickly, making quick work of brush. Very heavy ~400 lbs. Assembly instructions are nearly worthless. Lay out all bolts and use process of elimination to assemble. Would purchase again.

found it easy to assemble,impressed with sturdier materials used over light gauge metal on previous chipper i had. did have a few blockages but design of in and out chutes easily swing open to clear.
